All of our products are hand made by the two of us from start to finish. For the rustic sticks and brooms, we harvest all of the wood ourselves from the land of our neighboring farmers. For the more finished looking products, we get our wood from a local mill. We then work the sticks to have the design and overall effect we are looking for. After that, we seal it with an outdoor wood treatment, protecting the wood for years to come. From there, we finish it out into the broom, hiking stick, staff or cane. We both love our work and are truly honored when someone chooses to bring our craft into their home. About our Brooms Our brooms are all 100% broomcorn attached to our handcrafted wood handles. Broomcorn is not actually corn. It is related to sorghum, but has very low sugar content and is grown specifically for brooms. About our Sticks and Staffs Our hiking sticks are all handcrafted using found and finished wood. We finish out our sticks with a suede leather wrap for the handle and a rubber tip to protect the bottom. Some are handcarved. About our Canes Our canes are also all handcrafted using found and finished wood. Some are topped with a Derby handle, some with a swoop handle and some are topped with a brass or chrome hame. |
